About Us
Hello
and Welcome to Annie’s Place.
Our
names are Fred and Annie Yoder, the owners of Annie’s Place.
Our backgrounds are in both the housing industry and in the
wholesale drapery manufacturing industry
We
were both born and raised in Northern Indiana. In 1980, we moved our two
small children and ourselves to central Pennsylvania to revive a wholesale
drapery manufacturer in the process of going out of business. We saw an
opportunity to supply their needs and it changed our lives.
The
wholesale drapery business grew and so did the requests for Retail Custom
Draperies. To meet that growing demand in 1990 we opened Annie’s Place.
We
enjoyed the creativity of retail business and made the decision to sell
the wholesale business, which gave us more time to spend with our growing
family of six children; three children adopted from Honduras, Central America.
Our
children are getting older; we are now developing a new venture.
Manufacturing and selling our country valances, curtains, and related
items online and in the retail store Annie’s Place.
Annie’s
Place produces quality products with integrity and proudly made in the
USA.
The
year 2005 marks our twenty-fifth anniversary, dressing client’s windows.
We hope to share our experience with you. Let us dress your windows.
